Car Wash Express in Richmond Hill offers a generally positive and efficient car washing experience that provides great value. While the express wash works relatively well on most of the car, you might find yourself needing to go over a few spots afterward to catch anything it might have missed. However, this minor touch-up doesn't detract significantly from the overall good value you get. What truly stands out, beyond the wash itself, is their excellent customer service. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, making each visit a pleasant one. Additionally, the location is incredibly convenient, making it an ideal stop for a quick and effective clean. Despite the occasional missed spot, Car Wash Express remains a solid choice for a good and affordable car wash in Richmond Hill.

I'm giving two stars only because my truck doesn't fit into drive-thru car washes, so having an area to do it myself is great, especially because I live in an apartment, but this place was an absolute RIP OFF. It's $1 per minute, and you would think that might not be terrible, but with a truck my size and to do rinse, wash, rinse, tire/rim scrub, tire/rim rinse, and then the "ceramic coat", it definitely takes longer than 10 minutes so those charges rack up quick. I had to do three 10 minute charges and then one last charge that lasted not even a full 2 minutes, and it still charged me $5 for that... so all together, I paid $35 for it to take some dirt off. You could BARELY see a change in my tires and rims, and if I wanted to fully get into them and do a full scrub, it definitely would have been another $10. The so-called ceramic coat did absolutely nothing, the soap brush is so soft it doesn't scrub a single thing off your vehicle, and the velocity dryer didn't do a single thing but push the wayer around. I am so disappointed and feel very much ripped off. 0/10 do not recommend.

WoW! This family owned business really gets it. They keep this place very clean and very organized. Everything is modern equipment. I had a small issue, which was probably my fault, I put money into the self service and was hitting the buttons, and I think I cleared my own self out. I had put in $5.75. They have a text number, you can reach out to when you're here. So I did that and explained the situation. They promptly offered me a free credit. And told me all I had to do it was come up at my convenience and text them. I picked my bay, and they would activate the machine which is what they did for me today. Holy cow. They put $20 on my machine, not my $5.75. That is a company that just really goes above and beyond. I'm very appreciative of this place and happy to support them.

There a nice maintenance man there that talked to me, but other than that, this place is godawful. Do not come here!! Truly, visiting this car wash ruined my day. I have a massive company van that is too tall for traditional car washes so I self-service it. First of all, a dollar a minute to wash the thing myself is ridiculous, especially considering that only two of the six options work, which makes it very confusing and difficult to use. To make matters worse, the scrub brush is so soft and fluffy that you can’t actually scrub anything off whatsoever, and it’s the only tool they have. The soap comes out in copious amounts, and once it’s on there it’s some sort of strange expanding formula that doesn’t help get any gunk off, it only makes it impossible to get all the soap off of the vehicle. The water pressure is half the strength of a bathroom sink, truly pathetic, especially considering the nature of the soap that needs to be rinse off. When you’re finally done pumping the machine full of cash just to get most, but not all, of the soap off, there’s zero functioning options for drying your vehicle. So now, $20 later, my van is covered in hard water and soap scums marks and looks

Good car wash near I95. I’d use it again. Fair prices and good equipment. Bays had the typical car wash debris like sand and leaves but otherwise a great experience.
